Kicked Out by My In-Laws, Now I Own Their Building

Ten years after she signed a single paper and left her in-laws' home with nothing, Dain walks into their restaurant before opening hours. Her former mother-in-law Mal-soon, fuming that the new landlord is late, hears Dain say she bought this building at auction, snaps that Dain is no landlord, and Dain's ex-husband Tae-sung mumbles that she is just someone who used to work here. Asked whether she came for revenge, Dain says only that she came to renew the lease and switches on the darkened dining hall; Tae-sung's new wife Yu-ri starts fretting about the rent, and Dain takes the owner's seat and asks Mal-soon whether she knows where Dain's parents' money went. Tae-sung swears he is hearing this for the first time. The rent stays the same — but Dain wants the paper she signed ten years ago brought back, and Mal-soon's face freezes.
